ORBCOMM EUROPE is part of ORBCOMM, a publicly traded US company, which is market leader in the field of M2M solutions for asset tracking, management and remote control.

In Hoensbroek all Euroscan products are developed and produced. The international project management and global support of the Euroscan products are coordinated from the head office in Hoensbroek.

The function
Due to the strong growth of the company, we are looking for a

PRODUCTION EMPLOYEE (m/f) - NL Office; Hoensbroek

As a Production Employee you are part of a small team that is responsible for the customer specific orders for several product lines.
In this role, you are accountable to the Production Leader.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Quality of the assembled products
  • Support ISO procedures
  • Handle production orders on planning and instructions from Logistics -> Production leader
  • Keep production area organized and clean
  • Follow production procedures and instructions.
  • Correct handling of the products
  • Assembly according instructions
  • Work in a precise and accurate manner in assembly
  • Correct reporting of defects
  • Applying ESD Measures
  • Keep own workplace organized and clean
  • Perform functional tests
  • Visual checks (recognizing discrepancies)
  • Programing of Firmware
  • Soldering of individual components
  • Packing of materials & hardware systems
  • Assist production leader were needed (ERP releated)
  • Assist with creating work instruction and manuals
  • Replace the production leader in case of abcense

Job requirements:
  • MBO work and thinking level
  • Work experience in an ESD production area
  • Good communication skills and a perfect team player.
  • Good technical knowledge of electronics
  • Average knowledge how to handle a computer
  • Good language skills in Dutch, English
  • German language skills are a pre.
Personal Skills:
  • A thorough and accurate way of working
  • Able to work well both independently and in a team.
  • No 9 till 5 mentality
