We are looking for a


(Full-time, 38 hours per week)

The position:
The HR Officer manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources and Legal Affairs Team. The HR Officer reports directly to the Director Human Resources and Legal Affairs.

Tasks and responsibilities:
  • Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems;
  • Being actively involved in recruitment by preparing and posting vacancies, interviewing candidates and managing the hiring process;
  • Responsible for the general administration duties related to payroll services (preparing the monthly salary payments) and answering payroll related enquiries;
  • Keeping the personnel information system up-to-date;
  • Coordinating and supporting the annual performance appraisals;
  • Maintaining personnel files;
  • Processing new hires, terminations and personnel changes;
  • Developing and updating HR policies and manuals;
  • Case management according to the Gatekeeper Improvement Act;
  • Planning and administration for training and education programs;
  • Advising staff and management on HR related issues;
  • Supporting the Director Human Resources and Legal Affairs.
Qualifications and competencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HRM, Psychology or People & Business Management;
  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a multicultural environment;
  • Full proficiency in English and Dutch;
  • Knowledge of AFAS software;
  • Knowledge of Dutch labor law is an advantage;
  • Computer literacy in MS Office applications;
  • Analytical, integrity, empathy, pro-active, persuasiveness, excellent communication skills, accurate, planning and organizing, problem solving and cultural awareness.
